Welcome! This is a resource site for English Language education material created for Mongolian English Teachers. We are just getting started here, so stay tuned for more information when we have it. Right now, we have some listening resources as well as some links to other very useful websites.

The site's name comes from a growing group of Mongolian, American, Norwegian, British, Korean, and Russian natives who gather at Khovd's Ochir Restaurant every Wednesday evening to exchange food, conversation, and other information about the English Language and Mongolia, Mongolians, and Mongolian culture.

Several are US Peace Corps volunteers, one is an English Language Fellow from the US State Department. Several are secondary school students whose English is so good that they would have no problem navigating in the United States. Many are those on the front lines of teaching under conditions that are by any measure heroic. One, this American, is a fascinated observer of Mongolians' very simplified livestyle and direct approach to living.
